Folk dance ensemble "Balgarche" of the Balgarian union of Banat-Romania, subsidiary Vinga, was founded in spring 2002.
It preserves the traditions inherited four our ancestors who had to leave there natal country of Ciprovti (city) even in 1688 - after a failed revolt against the Turkish Empire.
Ciprovti is a town situated at the foot of the mountains Stara Planina in the north - western side of Bulgaria.
At the junction with other national minorities of this area, we took over ther folklore influences which created finally a beautiful bouquet of artistic expression.
Although it is new founded the ensemble "Balgarche" took part to numerous tours and folklore festivals in the country and abroad, receiving remarkable appreciations from the audience (spectators and viewers).
The concerts and the cultural programs from Romania, Hungary, Croatia, Serbia and especially in Bulgaria excited the spectators' admiration, the ensemble being invited to return for new concerts.
The numerous diplomas and awards confirm the success and the prestige among the spectators.
The repertoire of the ensemble includes Bulgarians folk dances specific to our village Vinga, folk dances from different areas of Bulgaria and Romania folk dances from the north - western part of Banat.
Each folk dance has its folk costume specific to the ethnographic area presented at the performance.
The ensemble has also a cheer leader team and modern dances which incite the young spectators .
The ensemble has about 60 dancers divided in three groups according to their age from 5 to 23 years old.
The leader and the choreograph of the ensemble "Balgarche" is Adrian Cosilcov who is brought up in a family whit old cultural traditions from Vinga. He took over the race from his predecessors and he has a moral duty to carry whit pride our traditions.
The leader of the art group is Petru Romanov, a folk music singer from Vinga.
The emblem of the ensemble "Balgarche" is a necklace of gems worn buy the proud people of Banat, a rich full of history and legends.
